遊瀬戸内芸術祭

在來日本之前，一直憧憬著去瀬戸内看看。剛好2022年舉辦芸術祭並且在10月6日前結束，想著下次舉辦有再等三年，按著最後一日結束那天立刻預訂了去高松市的機票。碰巧遇上了全国旅行支援活動，為這趟旅行省下不少錢。

9月為了拜訪多年未見的好友，第一次踏訪了澳大利亞這片土地。這是近兩年來出境遊，也給在日本的比較沉悶的生活帶來了一點趣味。有趣的是同航班上的乘客是日本人居多，當飛機起飛後，大家都不約而同摘下口罩，有點入鄉隨俗的意思。我也不想被誤會為“異類”，這趟旅程也沒有戴過口罩。

2月从广州回到日本后，孤独地在宅完成了研究。虽然过程中遇到一些技术困难，但是很幸运地都解决了。平平谈谈地写完论文后就毕业了。把 AR 作为研究方向，深信它有机会成为下一代交互平台，深入理解技术点后也对这领域越发感兴趣，但也仅局限于比较贴地的 AR。反而最近炒「Metaverse」概念的小丑太多，市场应该把这些清理掉，因为我依然坚信设计需要基于问题和场景出发。在入学前对留学期望并不高，也许是疫情的原因，两年的留学体验是很差的，其中包括各方面的选择。今年疏离太多人际关系，焦虑总让自己在睡眠中惊醒。「I Know This Much Is True」的主角遇到的事物比我困难太多，我应该学会慢慢放下。事已至此，虽有遗憾，刚好是一个节点，我必须往前看。

The documentary The Last Dance, a recent Netflix and ESPN collaboration, is hype. Although I’m a basketball fan, I don’t know much about the specific story of Michael Jordan, so this documentary felt more like a drama to me, with all the plot points being engaging. And it also takes admiration for the ESPN team’s connections to get the camera into the Chicago Bulls’ locker room.

There is one story that is pretty impressive to me. In the first episode, Bulls general manager Jerry Krause informed head coach Phil Jackson that this season was his final season coaching the Bulls in 1997-1998 pre-season. Jerry Krause as the head of management, the farce with Phil Jackson and Michael Jordan’s team is an open secret. However, Phil Jackson also gladly accepted the final year of his contract and set the theme for the final season, The Last Dance, to achieve the team’s sixth title.

I don’t know if it’s the cultural differences between East and West or personal professional attitudes. I really appreciate the professionalism of this team, they can tell each other directly to their face that I hate you, however, all the personal emotions don’t affect the team’s plan to win the title, everything is planned step by step. On the other hand, if this happens in the East, most people may quit their jobs and avoid working with people they don’t like; or they may go into a job or project with anger and imagine how bad the results will be.

Maybe it’s not necessary to have much skill, bring a professional attitude and things have basically worked out.
